WE DID IT!

Yes, it’s true. We opened for business on Saturday, and had a lot of fun. Everyone has responded with such positvity and praise, we couldn’t be more thrilled. Please come by and visit us, we love visitors. Come to Arboretum, where fashion meets compassion and ethical apparel abounds. See you at the Grand Opening party on the 28th!

NEW FACE OF ARBORETUM

With less that one week to go until opening day, the awning finally comes down allowing our building to breath once again. Revealing her true colors allows her amazing curves to command full attention of all who pass by. Just look at that photo! A little touch up paint and she’ll be right as rain. Next come our merchandise racks and display windows. AND THEN. . . voila! OPEN FOR BUSINESS

See you there.

Scenic Downtown LA

She’s a Lady

We have just returned from a productive mission scouting fall fashion. The Designers and Agents show in Los Angeles had plenty of apparel to offer, ethical and otherwise. Some highlights were the collections from Sameunderneath and Stewart + Brown.  We also found an adorable vintage daywear line for kids.  So much to look forward to!

We have fitting rooms! (almost…)

Pictured here, my brother Matt changes from his stylish office attire to more of a grungy work wear look. We have been elbow deep in Aura paint for the past three days, and the results are splendid. Andi and I would like to send a special thanks to Matt and Ames for their valiant  painting efforts, to Arty for installing the Marmoleum in our back room, and especially to Andi’s Daddy Dave for his engineering expertise and troubleshooting. Apparently it takes a village to build an Arboretum. We thank all of our team for their support. Sustainable style is coming to Healdsburg...soon!
